I can't tell you how much I've thrown away. It all started when I peeked in my closet to find that my "club clothes" (you know, leather leggings, sparkly tops, etc.) were overflowing my tank and t-shirt pile.
I allocated a drawer just for items like that, however, that drawer was filled with more junk - old reciepts, note cards, postage, journals, etc. - so then I put that into one of my shelves which of course had even more junk on it - magazine clippings, old CDs, key chains, etc. - so those I put into a box which... OK OK YOU GET THE POINT!
I threw away nail polishes, face masks, lotions, and I also made a "donation" pile. This is something my friends and I do when we decide to swap items we don't want anymore but they're just too new or too precious to throw away.
Long story short, I actually felt good throwing and giving away items that I simply didn't use. They were great at some point, I had my fun, but now they were either too old or took up too much precious space.
Do you ever feel good throwing stuff away or am I just wacked?

It always breaks my heart to throw stuff away, but since my younger sister is rapidly growing I get to “donate” my clothes to her... It does make me feel good when I clean my closet. I HATE having my stuff unorganized it stresses me out…

I hate throwing away stuff because what if someday I want to use it! But then I dont want to be a pack rat! uhhh! What to do..
Ah! I have such issues with throwing stuff away. Once i had issues throwing away this really old alarm clock that i've had for years. It broke becuase i kicked it off it's night stand LOL.
But i agree with Queen Mari. I cannot become a packrat! that's bad

I really should do this more often. I hate to throw away pretty things. I really only *throw away* beauty products if they are really awful and I don't think anyone would want them (and I can't return) or they are old and turned. Otherwise, I try to swap them.
I really need to do an overhaul of my clothes though. I bought some new shirts to replace ones that were pilling but of course I haven't gone and donated the pilling shirts yet!
