Thankgiving in New York

I love New York.

This year before Thanksgiving, I got out of work early and drove to NYC with my family. We went to see the balloons before the world known Macy's Thanksgiving Parade (and their windows were beautiful to boot!).

We also went to see Wintuk Cirque du Soleil. It's so beautiful and at the end... it snows across the whole audience!!!

But before we did most of our escapades, we took a little break at Le Pain Quotidien; it's like an organic Starbucks (with way less flavors) and Panera (with way less choices) hybrid. BUT just because there are less choices, doesn't make it less yummy. It was fab! And the decor was magnifique!

Free Shipping bitch fit

top secret

Ok, I may not have been blogging, but I've certainly NOT not been shopping. And I must say very much obsessed with NARS cosmetics - and who isn't? But I am too cheap to pay full price... that said, I've been Googling "NARS promo code" "NARS sale code" "NARS secret code" blah blah and let me say...

There is nothing special about free shipping!

For freaking goodness sake how special is it that if I spend $50 on your damn site... which by the way is like 2 NARS products, why the F wouldn't you ship it for free?! OR I could just drive down to my local Sephora and STILL pay no shipping! UGH!!!!

Please tell me I have not completely lost my marbles and you agree free shipping promo code is really just a freaking joke to act like it is oh-so special. Arg!

Chi Skull Mania & Clarisonic knock off at Marshalls

First, welcome! and thanks for staying in tune with my poorly updated blog recently.
Second, I looove Marshalls and TJMaxx and they do not pay me to say that nor have they given me goodies for blogging about them (which I very much wish they would - wink wink nod nod). Nonetheless, I will share my treasures with you. But first, my puppy Nina! haha she's so funny, hiding under my bed and throwing her toys under there...

Sooo as I was casually browsing through my local Marshalls today, this funny little watch stopped me. My young cousin - she's 12, she really lucks skulls, not creepy, but cute-girly with a bad ass twist. And then I realized I'm looking at a Chi straightening iron. Now... I already have a HerStyler and a Chi wet-to-dry straighter; why on Earth would I want anther one? WELL, my friend has a "regular" Chi and it made my hair so silky, so for an unbeatable price of $70, it was mine! And it's cute, too! ;)

Moving on, I've been lemming the Clarisonic skin care tool but could not justify the price. I found this litter treasure for only $30 and the best part, it's returnable if I don't like it, and it already comes with a spare brush head! Yippee! I'll be presenting a review soon.

Theoretically, it's an easy to use skin care system that can be used with any cleanser/scrub to bumb up your morning/night beauty routine. It's supposed even out your skin tone, decrease blackheads and give you an overall glow because you're constantly sloughing off dead skin cells.
...theoretically

I'll be back to give you the real scoop!
